Fees & Insurance
-
Our Bloom Together Pricing model is built on a simple truth: families are in different financial seasons.
Instead of a single flat fee, we invite clients to choose the rate that fits their current reality. Higher-tier contributions can support access to therapy for families who otherwise might not be able to afford care with us.
As such, this is how our pricing model works:
🌼 Supported Season:
Some families are in seasons where they need reduced fees to access care. We have limited spots available for this season.
Intake Session (1-hour long): $100
Continuing Care (45 mins): $75 per session
🌼 Sustaining Season:
Others may be in a stable place and able to pay our standard rate.
Intake Session (1-hour long): $175
Continuing Care (45 mins): $150 per session
🌼 Generative Season:
And some may have additional capacity to give forward, helping expand access for others in our community.
Intake Session (1-hour long): $225
Continuing Care (45 mins): $200 per session
🌼 Blooming Season:
Sometimes, Bud to Bloom Play Therapy welcomes new professionals starting their careers through internships who can offer reduced rates.
We are only able to provide this pricing when we are working with interns. Contact us to learn more.
Intake Session (1-hour long): $75
Continuing Care (45 mins): $50 per session
🌼 Therapy with Jasmine Berger:
For families interested in therapy with founder Jasmine Berger.
Intake Session (1-hour long): $225
Continuing Care (45 mins): $200 per session

In order to ensure the most focused care for our families through a smaller caseload for each provider, we are not in-network with commercial insurance plans. However, many of our families have success with applying for out-of-network reimbursement; here’s how a superbill works.
Therapy Services
-
Intake sessions are one hour long and always include the parent or caregiver. Together, we’ll talk through your child’s and family’s struggles and begin developing a plan to support your whole family.
Follow-up sessions (45 mins) focus on working directly with your child, you, or your whole family to address specific needs and challenges. We also provide pediatric therapy strategies for parents or caregivers to support ongoing progress at home, ensuring a holistic approach to your child’s development and emotional well-being.
-
Every child is different, so there is no set timeline for therapy. Some children benefit from short-term support around a specific challenge, while others work with a therapist for several months or years as they build new skills and process more complex experiences.
We regularly check in on your child’s progress and adjust goals together. Our hope is always to provide the support your child needs while helping your family feel confident continuing that growth beyond therapy.
-
Most children and teens attend weekly sessions, allowing us to help them build emotional skills and trust at a steady pace while maintaining momentum.
-
Yes, therapy is confidential, which helps build trust. Therapists follow ethical standards for confidentiality. Parents are typically informed about overall progress and safety concerns, but specific details are kept private unless there is risk of harm.
-
Yes! We offer virtual therapy for teens, and we may provide online play therapy for children as young as 6 years old. However, it depends on the therapist. If you’re interested in virtual therapy for your child, contact us to learn more.
-
Virtual therapy works well for many families. It removes common barriers to care and meets teens where they are.
Here are the benefits of choosing virtual therapy:
Convenient: No travel or long wait times
Flexible: Fits busy school and activity schedules
Confidential: Teens can speak freely in a safe space
Engaging: We use creative, teen-friendly approaches that they’ll actually like
Many teens already feel at ease online. That comfort can make therapy more effective.
