The Bloom Fund

Why Your Support Matters

When therapy is accessible before families reach crisis, the ripple effects are felt throughout the community:

  • Fewer emergency interventions

  • More stable families

  • Better school outcomes

  • Stronger, more connected communities

Investing in youth mental health benefits all of us, now and in the long-term. Many people who choose to give forward report that  it feels grounding and deeply values-aligned: a way to use their financial stability in service of the world they want to live in.

  • Care is Essential

We believe therapy is essential care, not a luxury. When children and caregivers receive high-quality mental health support, families are stronger and communities are healthier.

  • Access to Care

Access to therapy in St. Louis is not equal. Because of long-standing racial and economic oppression, Black, brown, and low-income families face greater barriers to mental health care while also experiencing higher levels of stress and trauma.

  • It Takes Community

These inequities have only been intensified by recent challenges in our region, including the 2025 tornado. We believe care should be shared, sustained, and supported by the whole community, and that all of us benefit when community members receive the support they need.

This model isn’t about charity.

It’s about recognizing abundance, sharing responsibility, and investing in collective well-being.

Community members who aren’t receiving therapy with us — but who believe everyone should have accessible, culturally responsive mental health care — can contribute to our Blooming Fund. This fund directly supports therapy access for kids and families in St. Louis.

While we’re not a non-profit and contributions aren’t tax deductible, they are impactful.
