Maddie Damann
Gentle, Play-Based Therapy for Children (Ages 2-11)
You may be noticing big feelings that come out in bursts. Worries that linger. Behaviors that feel confusing or hard to manage. Maybe your family has been through a change, and your child seems a little off balance.
If you’re here, you likely want your child to feel understood. You crave more connection with your child and confidence in your parenting.
In our work together, I offer a warm, playful space where your child can feel safer to be fully themselves.
Through child-centered, trauma-informed play therapy, I help children:
Express feelings in healthy ways
Build coping skills for anxiety, anger or sadness
Process family changes like divorce or separation
Strengthen attachment and connection with caregivers
Grow resilience at their own pace
I believe children bloom when they feel seen, supported, and gently guided. Caregivers are an important part of that growth, and I partner closely with you along the way.
My Education and Experience
With 10 years of experience walking alongside children and families, I feel deeply honored to do this work. As a therapist-in-training, I bring both lived experience and clinical training to support young children and caregivers.
I can’t wait to use the power of play based therapy to support you and your child’s healing. .
