Using Out of Network Reimbursement

Out of Network (OON) reimbursement is when your insurance company reimburses a portion of your session fee. Many insurance companies offer OON reimbursement after you reach a deductible. I would be happy to provide you with a super bill that you can summit to your insurance company.

All insurance companies and plans are different. To determine if you insurance offers OON reimbursement you can call your insurance provider and ask some of the following questions to help you better understand

:

  • Do you provide reimbursement for out oof network mental health providers

  • Does a deductible need to be met? if so what is my deductible?

  • What have I paid towards my deductible this year?

  • How do I submit my superbill?

Good Faith Estimates

As of January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act federally mandates that Good Faith Estimates be provided to clients. This means you are provided with an estimate of services based on having weekly sessions for 50 weeks in the year. If your child and family attend weekly sessions for 50 weeks your expected cost would be $6,500. You are entitled to file a report for any substantial overcharges ($400 or more).
