Child & Family Therapy for Big Behaviors, School Challenges and Adoptive Families
Helping children and families navigate big feelings, life transitions, and identity with compassion, play, and connection.
Your child may be showing big behaviors, shutting down, or struggling with social-emotional challenges. Maybe they’re navigating adoption, questioning their identity, living with trauma, or managing neurodivergence. You’ve noticed the struggle maybe you see it showing up in school, at home or even with peer, but you’re not sure exactly what is wrong or how to help.
It can feel exhausting to watch your child hurting and overwhelming to carry the weight of figuring it out alone. You want them to be able to express their feeling and have healthy ways to address them .
When Life Feels Overwhelming for Your Child
So many families come to me worried, tired, and unsure of the next step. Parenting through trauma, special needs, identity questions, or attachment struggles can feel isolating. Your child may be overwhelmed by their big feelings and life transitions and unsure of how to share them or navigate them. You just want to help them and you want them to be okay.
But here’s the truth: you and your child don’t have to figure this out on your own. Together, we can replace confusion with clarity, and frustration with compassion.

As a transracial adoptee, I bring lived experience and understanding to the unique challenges of adoption and identity. With a strong background in special education, I also bring a wealth of knowledge about supporting children with different learning styles and needs. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for children and families. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me camping, bird-watching, kayaking, hiking, watercolor painting, going to concerts, or curled up with a mystery or historical fiction novel.
What matters most in my work is helping families feel understood and supported not judged or shamed, so you can be the healthiest versions of yourselves.
